Our company is implementing a software for monitoring web activities of employees. From time to time, of course, I browse in the internet for a while and then back to work again. The administrator also installed a VNC (remote) software to have their repairs done remotely... But one thing I don't like is they are trying to peek on my computer when I'm accessing the internet, there were two cases, 1) when I was accessing my bank account and 2) when my sister and I were discussing about eye diseases and I searched in the internet... my point is yes they have the right to monitor as Network Administrator, but attempting to peek on what you do using the VNC server is I think envading my privacy... they can advice me through email or phone but not accessing my computer without permission... It's very obvious when they access my computer because the VNC icon in the system tray will turn black. Do I have the right to complain vs. the network administrator?
