2009 is the year of the OX

Let's welcome 2009 and be sure you already have your new year's resolution! In Chinese calendar, 2009 is the year of the OX.  You carry the sign of the OX if you were born on this years: 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997

People born in the Year of the Ox are patient, speak little, and inspire confidence in others. They tend, however, to be eccentric, and bigoted, and they anger easily. They have fierce tempers and although they speak little, when they do they are quite eloquent. Ox people are mentally and physically alert. Generally easy-going, they can be remarkably stubborn, and they hate to fail or be opposed. They are most compatible with Snake, Rooster, and Rat people.

Special gathering

Today is our special gathering with my family and the family of my girlfriend. This is the day we declare our official plan in getting married next year. I will bring my nephew and niece, they are combination of toddlers and youngsters and surely it will gonna be fun. We are excited preparing salads and deserts. Let's have a party!

Good news of the day!

Our company's President issued a memo that made all employees very excited in preparation for Christmas. We will going to go home earlier, there's no more work this afternoon. It's a big help, although not in the form of cash but we are very happy.  At least, we can have more time to prepare our home parties and can avoid the rush hour. Merry Christmas to all!

Long break during Christmas

It will be a long break on Christmas. Starting December 25 up to January 2, 2009 there will be no work because it has been declared long holiday. It's very nice because we can spend more time with our family and completely forget the work for a week. Spend quality time to our love ones is the most important thing to do.

Shopping month

I consider December as the shopping month of the year. This is the time when employees are receiving their bonuses and other form of cash benefits. Surely, they will go directly to shopping malls to buy clothing, gadgets, computers and any other gift items for their love ones. Some are going for vacation and others are doing something else that will make their Christmas season memorable. Advance Merry Christmas to everyone!
