SLEEPY AND HOT SATURDAY

What a way to spend this Saturday! Facebook whole day, 2 eggs for lunch and a quick nap in this hot afternoon. Not so good! What I want is pizza for lunch, movie and popcorn for snack and massage there after. If I go any further in my imagination, I would want to be in Boracay this sunny afternoon, where the sand is cool and the people are equally cooler! I would want to soak in the beach, and spend the whole afternoon lazing around. Eat ice cream or halo halo, check the souvenir stores and eventually wait for the majestic boracay sunset!

“THERE MUST BE MORE TO THIS LIFE”

When I heard this on TV I can’t help but pause and agree coz I feel the same way. Everyday as I open my eyes, I do thank the Lord for another day. But then when I go to the office and spend another day of stress, paper works, phone calls, emails and irritating office mates, I can’t help but wonder, is this where I should be?

SYNTHETIC HAPPINESS

Twas great to listen to Dan Gilbert when he talked about synthetic happiness and natural happiness. He challenged the idea that we’ll be miserable if we don’t get what we want. Our "psychological immune system" lets us feel truly happy even when things don’t go as planned. Just visit this link if you want to be inspired.. Dan Gilbert asks why are we happy?. It makes us realize that happiness can be synthesized. In other words, human beings can be happy with whatever they have and wherever they are in their life now. It is contrary to what we thought that we can only be happy is we get what we want. In reality, we can be happy even if we did not get what we want because we have the capacity to synthesize happiness

Happy Birthday Mama!

It's my mother's 69th birthday today...her friends offered a serenade this early morning and she was so happy and even had teary eyed listening to the songs. She planned two sets of preparation, one during lunch for her sisters and in the evening for us her offspring. I hope my sisters prepared for tonight's celebration. Me and my wife planned to go home early this afternoon to help with the preparation.

I am not really a good writer and I don’t force myself to be a good writer. I just enjoy practicing writing article to improve my vocabulary, grammatical skill and of course to express my self, what’s on my mind and share to others.
