OGTT for me!

After 12 hours of fasting, I submitted myself for a fasting blood sugar to measure blood sugar level while on fasting. Then they had me drink from a glass of a very sweet orangy stuff which would supposedly raise my blood sugar level. I waited for 2 hours in the waiting room doing nothing. No food or fluid intake. They will check my blood sugar levels again after drinking that sweet stuff that almost made me puke. My OB had me tested for this to measure my tendency to have a diabetes. I hope the results will be negative.

itchy!

Again I'm now suffering from severe itching. After around 2 hours of waiting in the airport for this crazt airline who will not allow me to go for advance booking for the boss, I was exposed to the very cold surrounding. Thus the hives again appeared from my abdomen, and legs incluing my back. According to the web, these hives or urticaria has many causes and Im hoping mine is just an allergic reaciton to the physical temperature and not a symptom of some underlying disease. So, what's the relief? Well, I poped up some antihistamine and hopefully have a good nights sleep without the itch..

To become a vegan

Thelife of a vegetarian is not as easy as salad on a bowl. I recently had lunch with someone who is a vegetarian. While I ordered pork and some veggies, she brought out her lunch box and took out her meal of tofu and mongo sprout. I was quite amazed with her food preferences and wondered how she would survive without any kind of meat in her diet. I tasted the tofu and to be honest its not that bad after all. These people are really serious with their quest for healthy intake that after hearing her story, I was a bit inspired to eat healthier. She told me things that I already knew about healthy diet. I wish that if I would not totally go vegan, I would watch my food intake and live healthier.

Upset stomach

Hubby just recently have an upset stomach, with loose bowel movement and slight fever. Im suspecting amoebiasis but we have to be sure. Will get the results of the lab exams in awhile. But just in case its really amoebiasis, might as wel research about it and monitor for signs of dehydration. Flagyl is the best medicine for it.
