I think God has send an angel last Sunday in the form of a Ford Everest with a very kind driver who helped us out of our muddy dilemma. That was one of the wet and dirty weekend we have had. There were a lot of unfortunate events that got us so tired and dirty. Why? Because our good old car named midnight was almost drowned halfway due to flood. The rain went crazy last Friday and the water in the street suddenly rose without warning. Of course when we checked in the morning, the floor mat was wet and the car smelled awful. Nevertheless, we used the car, muddy and wet to finish some important tasks. Yesterday, Sunday when we were on our way to mass, we almost hit a motorcycle who was driving carelessly. It was almost certain by that split second that we could have hit that motorcycle when we turned left to park on the grounds of St Mary Church. I was glad we have not caused an accident. But when we parked on what we thought was a dry grassy area, we got caught in the muddy façade of grasses that our car easily slid deeper on the mud every time we attempt to accelerate it. We left the good old KIA to hear the mass. I silently added in my petition that hopefully we could be out of our misery soon. Sure enough, Mr. Kind Owner of Ford Everest with plate number LGK 489 was kind enough to offer help. Thank you very much! I will make sure that kindness will be paid forward.
